Czubinski, Mateusz, Krivograd, Emily. “Lewis University App User Manual.” Jan. 29, 2021.
As an intern for the Lewis University Office of Technology, Emily assisted in the creation of user manuals for faculty members and staff to use when they access any application needed for teaching, meeting, and working with colleagues. The Lewis University App is targeted toward prospective students who want to learn more about the school’s programs and take a virtual tour. Throughout this manual, faculty members and students who may use the app can better understand how the software can help them.
Czubinski, Mateusz, Eghan, Henrietta, Krivograd, Emily, and Page, Morgan. “Improving Sodexo’s Bite App.” Dec. 10, 2020.
In this formal feasibility report, Emily and a team of technical writing students presented research findings and summaries of how to improve the Bite App, an application used by dining service Sodexo on the Lewis University campus. After surveying students about their experiences with the Bite App, they provided the client, a Sodexo manager, with recommendations for moving forward with the app. Through their application of headings, graphs, and a useful color scheme, the report was informative, attractive, and easy to follow.
Czubinski, Mateusz, Haas, Rebecca, and Krivograd, Emily. “How to Use Google Docs.” April 3, 2020.
Throughout this virtual manual, Emily and a team provided extensive explanations of how to use the Google Suite, while implementing graphics and screenshots so users could easily follow along. The intended audience was mainly users who may not typically use Google applications and want a simple, yet comprehensive guide.
Krivograd, Emily. “Mica Use in Cosmetics.” March 2, 2020.
This infographic was made to educate not only heavy users of cosmetics, but any person, about mica use in the beauty industry. Mica is a shiny rock typically used to add sparkle to cosmetics, but it is often unethically sourced. As a result, this infographic served not only as an informative piece, but was also a call to action for readers to advocate for ethically-sourced ingredients.
